Education
In 1529, Martin Luther wrote his Small Catechism when he realized that most people attending church at that time had no real understanding of their Christian faith. From that time forward, Lutherans have made Christian education a part of our life in the Church. Accordingly, we believe that our faith grows and our lives are enriched when we further our understanding of God’s Word.St. Matthew’s expresses this belief through our Education Ministries and the wide variety of Faith Formation learning opportunities that we offer.
