What We Do
WEDNESDAYS at 6 PMWednesdays are the heart of campus ministry! We gather for a delicious, home-cooked (and FREE!) meal followed by a time to check-in with one another and share news from the week, to gather around God's word for Bible study, and to be in prayer for one another. We gather at the Community Center of St. Matthew's on King Street--through the courtyard and beside the sanctuary.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Freed in Christ to love and serve our neighbor, service is instrumental to campus ministry. Opportunities abound--including in St. Matthew's own Community Center (located next to the church) where students can help with the After School Program while receiving college credit! Ask Pastor Sarah Lang for more information.
LUTHERAN STUDENT MOVEMENT RETREATS
Twice per year we gather with Lutherans (and other students) from across the southeast for a time of service, learning, and play! Stay-tuned for dates for the fall and spring semester retreats!
ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK TRIPS
Are you looking for a way to serve? A way to connect with concerns of justice in our world? A way to gather with other people your age for a time of learning, exploring, laughter, service, and play? If so, consider joining Lutheran Campus Ministry for its annaul spring break trip. Spring break 2012 begins Saturday, March 12--Sunday, March 11, 2012.
WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION
Join with the community of St. Matthews at 8:30 AM or 11:00 AM on Sundays for worship--although most students attend together at 11 AM! All are welcome!
